In April 2026, Session adopted Fort Hill Presbyterian Church’s 2026-2030 Strategic Plan following more than a year of prayer, discernment, research, and conversation.
Through the fall we faithfully asked who we are, what we do well, and how we can increase our capacity to lean into our mission: to Glorify God, Grow Disciples, and Meet Human Needs.
Out of this discernment emerged four strategic directions that will help shape Fort Hill’s ministry and priorities in the years ahead.
1. Belonging and Connections
Strengthening a church community where all people feel welcomed, connected, engaged, and supported in their faith journey.
2. Bridging Generations for Faith Formation
Helping people of all ages grow together in faith through shared worship, learning, relationships, and service.
3. Community Engagement and Partnerships
Extending God’s love beyond the walls of the church through service, compassion, and partnerships that support the needs and well-being of our community and beyond.
4. Building on the Foundation
Strengthening the leadership, resources, facilities, and financial stewardship needed to sustain and grow Fort Hill’s ministry and mission for the future.
Fort Hill’s ministry teams and Board of Deacons are already beginning the work of bringing these strategic directions to life through faithful ministry, service, discipleship, hospitality, care, and outreach.
As Fort Hill looks toward the future, we will continue to grow as disciples, serve with compassion, and shine even brighter as a light on the hill, bearing witness to God’s love in a growing and changing community.
